FOE, directed by Lion’s Garth Davis and based on the best-selling novel by Iain Reid, is set in 2065. Hen (Saoirse Ronan) and Junior (Paul Mescal) farm a secluded piece of land that has been in Junior’s family for generations, but their quiet life is thrown into turmoil when an uninvited stranger (Aaron Pierre) shows up at their door with a startling proposal.

You won’t find any spoilers here so we cant say much more, but be prepared to leave the cinema discussing how AI and the climate crisis could impact our lives between now and 2065.
